ABC Electrical Services strengthens

ABC Electrical Services, the direct union organization working for Ashford Borough Council, had huge success in 2021 expanding its premium electrical services provided to businesses and residents of Kent.

While continuing to install and maintain thousands of community-owned homes and apartments, the team has won a growing number of commercial contracts. He was so successful in citing for the job that he had an astonishing 97% success rate in promoting and getting new work.

ABC Electrical Services’ work on private commercial and domestic properties generated income of £ 33,000 last year. Many have been loyal customers, clearly demonstrating its growing reputation for quality and value for money.

This work was completed while continuing to “do the day job” to maintain the council’s stock of 5,100 housing units across the borough. This valuable additional income helps the authority to finance essential public services.

It has invested in new software and computer systems to improve its working methods: a new internal stock control system saves several thousand euros per month on the purchase of materials and stocks. It has eliminated the time wasted for its staff waiting at sales counters, freeing up more time to spend with customers.

The IT upgrade also reduced resource-intensive paperwork by automating cyclic job notifications, letters, and appointments, as well as providing a mobile workflow for electricians in the field. They are able to complete work orders and visits on their mobile devices, adding work codes and material orders, saving paperwork and filling out forms upon their return to the depot.

ABC Electrical Services also has a strong community spirit. In 2021, he installed three defibrillators free of charge at Little Chart Village Hall, Spearpoint Pavilion in Kennington, and Singleton Environment Center.
