Electrical contractors install ovens for newly housed families this Christmas

Electrical contractors, based in Leith, have answered the call of the Cyrenians to help install two electric ranges in two properties for their service users. The ECEC was inundated with work before Christmas, but the managing director, Wayne Archibald, went to process the request himself. , for free, after learning about the work Cyrenians are doing to help the homeless community. They asked for a price, but after learning what they are doing, I went over there and hooked them up myself. âIt was good to have a little contact with the households and to find out their stories. To be honest I never walk past the homeless, you never know their stories, their backgrounds and it might just be a breath of bad luck so I always try to support the homeless whenever I can. . âWe have offered to help them in the future. We think it doesn’t take much to donate an hour of our time to complete work for a great cause. Has had a huge impact on those we support here at Cyrenians, but I am extremely grateful to the ECEC for their help, unable to get someone out to install their stove, were delighted that the ECEC arranged for their devices to be hooked up for free. This may seem like a small gesture, but the impact this has had is overwhelming. “It sends such a beautiful message to show that kind of generosity and kindness, and I am so grateful to the team at ECEC who made this possible.”
