NECA welcomes the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario

WASHINGTON, January 10, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Effective today, the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario (ECAO) has announced its membership in the US-based National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). This is NECA’s first International Chapter to become a full NECA Chapter, connecting more than 500 Ontario electrical construction companies to the full range of NECA’s industry-leading benefits and services.

ECAO, based in Toronto, was founded in 1948 to serve and represent the interests of the electrical industry. ECAO members are also members of their area ECA, with 11 current ECAs in the region.

This partnership marks a historic moment in the electrical construction industry, increasing NECA’s membership and expanding its reach beyond US borders, and providing from Ontario leading electrical contractors with the education, networking, advocacy, labor relations, risk management, and business development resources that have made NECA the electrical industry’s leading trade association North American.
