Tempo acquires an electrical service provider

Increase national presence.

Tempo Australia has acquired 100% of the main national supplier of electrical services, KP Electric. The deal gives Tempo a stronger national presence, as KP Electric currently serves customers at 12 operating bases across Australia.

KP Electric specializes in electrical service, maintenance and compliance of existing electrical assets and energy management across Australia. It provides preventive, scheduled, reactive and compliance electrical maintenance services to companies such as Woolworths and Nokia Australia.

KP Electric will continue to operate as a stand-alone company. The founder, Peter King and the management team will be retained in the company and are committed to working closely with the management team of Tempo.

Tempo Managing Director and CEO Max Bergomi (pictured above) said: “We expect Tempo’s strong balance sheet, robust systems and processes and experienced management team to act as a further catalyst for KP Electric’s core business, allowing it to target more complex maintenance opportunities on larger industrial and commercial sites. It is a win-win situation for both parties.

In addition to basic electrical services, the acquisition will complement the expertise already developed internally through the Cablelogic division and allow the company to position itself as a technological leader in installation, testing and maintenance. telecommunications infrastructure, including base transceiver substation systems, to build cellular networks and wireless backbone infrastructure.

Tempo will now offer telecommunications customers, including Nokia, Huawei, CAM, Telstra, Optus and Vodafone, a unique end-to-end service, meeting the growing need for stronger and more reliable data and telecommunications networks across Australia .
